Mary Ann Viveralli Luke, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Saint Mary's Home at Asbury Ridge. She was born on May 23, 1932 in Erie, a daughter of the late Joseph (Giuseppe) and Assunta Fortunato Viveralli.
Along with a strong faith in God, she was a vibrant, energetic, and selfless woman who made a lasting impact on everyone she met. She had a passion for cooking, bowling, playing cards, and bocce, always finding joy in the little things. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her wonderful family, as well as her lifelong friends Jean and Bill, and Dick and Joyce.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Clarence S. Luke; her brother, James Viveralli and an infant twin brother; her sisters, Jessie Klemm, Dora Verno, Lena Hrinko, Rose Verno, and Nancy Buffalari; and her son-in-law, John Alexander.
She is survived by her children, Laura Jean Luke (Mary), Doreen M. Gray (Dale), Anna M. Falletta, and Jeffery J. Luke (Dawn); her grandchildren, Kimberly, Paula, Jana, David, Danielle (Dave), Anthony (Johnee), Alicia (Josh), Jesse, and Julia; and her great grandchildren, Oliver, Wyatt, Knox, Henry, Jason, Chloe, Jade, and Lily. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to call on Thursday, March 6, at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, 2122 Raspberry Street, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Home at Asbury Ridge Chapel, 4855 West Ridge Road, on Friday, March 7, at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
