Mary R. DelGobbo DiNicola

Mary R. DelGobbo DiNicola, age 92, of Erie died Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at UPMC Hamot. She was born February 8, 1920 in Limsano, Italy, a daughter of the late George and Teresa Minicucci DelGobbo. She lived in Erie most of her life.

Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking for her family and gardening.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond N. DiNicola and one brother, Sam DelGobbo.

She is survived by her two daughters, Theresa C. Best and husband Ronald of Erie and Elizabeth M. DiNicola of Alexandria, VA; one granddaughter, Stephanie Gieza and husband Clay of Erie and two great-grandchildren, Dylan Nicole and Madison Gieza. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 9:30 a.m.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
