Mary "Aunt Mimi" Ventresca

Mary "Aunt Mimi" Ventresca, 88, of Erie, passed away Sunday June 25, 2017 at LECOM Senior Living Center. She was born April 30, 1929 in Erie, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Cavicchio Ventresca.

She worked at Erie Insurance Exchange for over 30 years.

Mary enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking and baking.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Joseph Ventresca and two sisters, Lillian Nielsen and Rose Jagta.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Arlene Ventresca, many nieces and one nephew.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday at Saint Stephen RC Church, 1237 West 22nd Street, at 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass there at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Stephen Church, 1237 West 22nd Street, Erie, PA 16502 or to Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest PA, 1507 Grimm Dr, Erie, PA 16501.
