Mathilda I. "Tillie" Spangle Pacuraw

Mathilda I. "Tillie" Pacuraw, 95, formerly of West 38th Street, died Monday, February 8, 2010 at Fairview Manor after a lengthy illness.

She was born January 27, 1915 in Rhodesdale, OH, a daughter of the late Dan and Magdaline Gobus Spangle. She was a member of the Nuova Aurora Club and the Romanian Club. She enjoyed bowling and walking.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Gaza Spangle and two sisters, Magdaline Furda and Gazale Parris.

She is survived by two sons, John Pacuraw and wife Rose Marie of Erie and Robert Pacuraw and wife Val Jean of Parrish, FL; two sister-in-laws, Virginia Pacuraw and Barbara Schwartz and husband Bill both of Erie; three grandchildren, Annette Ernst of GA, Debbie Snyder and husband Brian of Erie and Robert Pacuraw and wife Kim of Parrish, FL. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and may attend a service there on Thursday at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1626 West 26th Street, at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family in care of the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc.
