Mavis N. Cacchione

Mavis N. Cacchione, age 91, of Erie, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021, at LECOM Senior Living Center. She was born September 30, 1929, in Erie, a daughter of the late Thomas and Rachel DiFilippo Cacchione.

She was a graduate of Academy High School. Mavis enjoyed bowling and taking shopping trips out of town. She was also an avid New York Yankees fan.

She was a member of the Montenero Ladies' Society.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Menga Novello, her brother, Phillip Cacchione; a sister-in-law, Geraldine Cacchione; and two brothers-in-law, John Novello and Attilio Chimenti.

Mavis is survived by her sister, Albia Chimenti; her brother Thomas Cacchione; and her sister-in-law, Betty Cacchione. She is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. Friends are invited to a committal service at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 3325 West Lake Road, on Wednesday, August 18th at 1pm. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, Erie, PA 16502. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
