So cherished; so much love Melanie Ronzitti Balduf Higgins passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her adoring family and friends. Melanie has lost her courageous 11 year battle with cancer.

She was born February 7, 1965 in Mobile, AL, loving daughter of Nicholas Ronzitti and Jane Hamilton.

Melanie was the manager of the Sacred Heart Ushers Club and Knights of St. John's Social Club. She loved arts and crafts. She was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. But her true love was her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Michael and Freeda Seelinger, Mose and Frances Ronzitti, and Jim Balduf.

She will be forever loved and missed by her children, Kyle Balduf, Jason Balduf, Alysa Balduf, Kara Jeziorski, Dystany Jeziorski, Samantha O'Connell, and Julie Dash; two brothers, Nicholas Ronzitti, Jr. and Barry (Peedi) Miller and sister-in-law, Tracy Campbell. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many cousins, and estranged spouse, Patrick J. Higgins.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street on

Wednesday from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral service there at 6:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers memorials contributions may be made to the funeral home.
