Olga M. Travise

Olga M. Travise, age 93, of Erie, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 13, 2021. She was born on September 26, 1927 in Hebburn, England, a daughter of the late Jack and Elizabeth Butler Anderson.

She was a woman of great faith who loved the Lord with all her heart. She enjoyed reading and singing. Olga was a "war bride". She met Frank, the love of her life, during WWII and came to this country to start a family with him. They were happily married for 70 years until the time of his passing in 2015.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Travise; her son, John Travis; her brothers, Lester and John Anderson; and a sister, Eileen Anderson.

Olga is survived by her daughters, Christine Latona (Giovanni), Katherine Travis, Karen Pernice (Guy), and Janet Santarelli (Louis); her son, Frank Travis II (Tracie); and her sister, Nora Cameron. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, Erie, on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 1 p.m. until the time of the service there at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
