Patricia L. Giovannelli Hall

Patricia L. Giovannelli Hall,76, of Erie passed away Thursday January 26, 2017 at Millcreek Community Hospital after an extended illness. She was born May 3, 1940 in Brockway, PA a daughter of the late Edmond "Damo" and Irene Paruso Giovannelli.

Patti moved to Erie in 1951; she attended Saint Michael Grade School and was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School Class of 1958.

After graduation she worked at the Agresti Clinic and later for the City of Erie in the Parks Department for two years. She also worked for the Erie School District for 30 years spending most of her career at Roosevelt Middle School. Patti was a Union President for the Secretary's Association for many years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and two nieces, Robin and Natalie.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, John "Jack" Hall; two daughters, Justina Watford (Donald) and Susan Balcerzak (Chris); grandchildren, Justin (Christina), Alexander, Benjamin, and Prince (Rose); and great-grandchildren, Juliet, Chyna, Savanna, Kaleyak and Eli.

Friends are invited to call at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1626 West 26th Street, on Tuesday at 9 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Mass there at 10 a.m. with Rev. Michael DeMartinis officiating. Burial will be private in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2115 West 38th Street, Erie, PA 16508.The John R.
