Patricia Ziroli McGraw

Patricia Ziroli McGraw, 84, of Erie, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, August 6, 2017. She was born January 6, 1933 in Erie, a daughter of the late Donato "Daniel " and Filomena Sambuchino Ziroli. She was also preceded by the love of her life, her husband, Thomas F McGraw - they were married 33 years.

Patti graduated from Strong Vincent High School, Class of 1950. She worked in administration at General Electric for many years and retired in 1993. After retirement Patti had a huge fondness for her daily breakfast at McDonald's, meeting up with many special friends each and every morning.

But, Patricia's greatest love in life was the love she had for her family. Every holiday meant family gatherings at her house, especially her favorite, Christmas Eve. She was very proud of her Italian heritage but also embraced the Irish heritage traditions of her late husband.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Guili Ziroli and wife Bernadette and Palmer Ziroli; one sister, Cecelia Bellomini and husband (Robert) and brother-in-law John McGraw.

She is survived by her loving family - her children, Thomas P. McGraw, Laurie Mattis (Bob) and Linda Lent (Thomas); nine grandchildren, Cara, T.J. and Marissa McGraw, Robert, Trisha and Rebecca Mattis, Alli, Lydia and Michael Lent and seven loving great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sister-in-laws, Marie Ziroli and Katie McGraw all of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Mass on Friday at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street at 10 a.m. Burial will be private in Calvary Cemetery.
