Paula Chrostowski Lachesky, 68, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital. She was born January 9, 1957 in Erie, a daughter of Peter P. Chrostowski and the late JoAnn Lachowski Chrostowski.
Paula was a graduate of Saint Benedict Academy. She worked as a nurse's aide at Manchester Commons and Saint Mary's at Asbury Ridge.
Paula's passion for craftsmanship was evident in her love for crocheting, needlepoint, and bead art. She dedicated countless hours to her artistry, creating stunning pieces that embodied her creative spirit and brought joy to those around her.
Above all else, Paula was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her family was her heart's greatest treasure, and she cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lachesky.
She is survived by her two daughters, Diane Lachesky Myers (Matthew Pochatko) and Laura Michaels (Matt); one son, Matthew Good; four siblings, Kenneth Chrostowski (Natalie), Cheryl Storten (John), Richard Chrostowski (Laurie), and Marie Gray; and four grandchildren, Ashley and Randy Myers and Josie and Jesse Michaels. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Friends are invited to call on Monday at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial will be private in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
