Peter P. Suroviec, Jr.

Peter P. Suroviec, Jr., age 57, of Edinboro, formerly of Harborcreek, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025 at Saint Vincent Hospital. He was born on May 10, 1967 in Erie, a son of the late Peter P. Sr. and Viola (Buczek) Suroviec.

Pete was a man of the land who loved being outdoors. Whether it was growing a garden, driving his tractors, fishing, hunting, cutting down trees or riding his various machines in the woods through the mud or snow. He always felt at home as part of Mother Earth.

In addition to his parents, Peter was proceeded in death by two sisters, Kathy Suroviec and Marcey Wilson; and one brother, John Suroviec.

He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 26 years Patricia (Romance) Suroviec; two stepchildren, Sara (Sean) Hackett and Ralph (Tanya) Grant III; his brother, Greg (Susan) Suroviec; his sister, Valerie (Louis) LaPlaca; three step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, 2122 Raspberry St, on Friday April 4, 2025 from 4 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 6 p.m. Burial will be private in Saint Gregory Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
