Philomena Cimino Adams, 92, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at LECOM at Elmwood Gardens. She was born December 12, 1932 in Erie, a daughter of the late Anthony and Pasqualina "Patsy" (Guzzo) Cimino.
A proud graduate of Strong Vincent High School, Class of 1951, Philomena remained actively connected to her classmates through numerous reunions, always celebrating the bonds formed during her youth. Her professional career as a telephone operator at the General Electric Telephone Company was marked by her dedication and commitment to service. Her first priority was always taking care of her family.
Philomena found great joy in music and attending musicals. Christmas was her favorite holiday, as she delighted in decorating her home, baking cookies, and embracing the festive spirit that surrounded the season. Her love for the Christmas holiday was contagious, bringing joy to all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Carmen, John, and Vincent Cimino.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Adams; daughter, Lisa Ciochetty (James Steven); her granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Ciochetty; and her brother, Anthony Cimino. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her sister- in-law, Josephine (Vincent) Cimino.
Funeral Services will be private. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
