Phyllis L. Bloom Catlin

Phyllis L. Bloom Catlin, age 82, of Erie, died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Golden Living Center Western Reserve. She was born June 4, 1931 in Lumber City, PA, a daughter of the late Earl and Ianathe Bloom.

Phyllis enjoyed traveling, reading and cooking. She collected tiger memorabilia.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Don Bloom and one sister, June Randall.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ernest J. Catlin, Jr. ; one son, Mark J. Catlin; two sisters, Connie Sigrist and Shirley Smith and husband Ed all of Erie; four grandchildren, Jason Caltin and wife Jessica, Andrew, Tara and Kyrsten Catlin and three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Ana and Dathan. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be private in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
