Remo D. Iacobucci

Remo D. Iacobucci, age 85, of Erie, died Monday, August 20, 2007 at Saint Vincent Health Center following a brief illness. He was born April 23, 1922 in Montenero, Italy, a son of the late Alfonso and Maria Pallotto Iacobucci. He lived in Erie since 1950. He had worked at National Forge for 31 years, retiring in 1987. He enjoyed gardening and wine making.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Berta DiFilippo. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Anna N. Bonaminio Iacobucci; one daughter, Maria L. Iacobucci and two sisters, Norina Narducci and Ena DeGeorge all of Erie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 10 a.m. A Christian Wake Service will be held at the Funeral Home Wednesday at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Mausoleum.
