Renee Ann Frawley

Renee A. Frawley, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 10, 2025 at UPMC Hamot Hospital. She was born on February 17, 1973 in Erie, a daughter of Henry Hutchins and the late Deborah (Blose) Cassatt.

She was an amazing mother and grandmother, always cherishing time spent with her family. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee and working on puzzles together. Organizing family gatherings and parties was something she truly loved, always finding ways to bring everyone together.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Laura Wilkinson.

Renee is survived by her children, Shawn Lupole (Kayla), Sierra Johnson (Mark), Steven Kopnitsky (Alena), Samantha Beeler (Ben), and Sadie Francis (Bobby Houser); her brother, Jeffrey Cortes (Jodi); her sister, Michelle Jones; her fiance, Tonya Perala; and her step-son, Nick Perala. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the Word of Life Christian Center, 660 Hess Ave, from 12 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service there at 1 p.m. Burial will be private in Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Laura Wilkinson Memorial Fund, c/o Inter-Church Ministries, 250 West 7th Street, Erie, PA 16501. The John Orlando Funeral Home, 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
