Rosalie M. Gasbarro Orlando

Rosalie M. Gasbarro Orlando, age 65, of West 24th Street, died Thursday, September 6, 2007 following an extended illness.

She was born October 29, 1941 in Erie, a daughter of Viola DiFiori Gasbarro of Erie and the late Nick Gasbarro. She lived in Erie her entire life. She was a member of the Elks Club Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping and playing cards.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Lou Gillespie.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Orlando of Erie; a daughter, Susan M. Fry and her husband Michael of Kalamazoo, MI; a son, Michael D. Orlando and his wife Heidi of Pittsburgh, PA and two grandsons, David and Alex Fry.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a Service there on Monday at 12:30 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 1:00 p.m. A Christian Wake Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery.
