Rose M. Stellato Calabrese

Rose M. Stellato Calabrese, age 81, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Saint Vincent Health Center after an extended illness.

A lifelong resident of Erie, she was born February 26, 1928 a daughter of the late Enrico and Frances Bucini Bianchi. She was the owner of Rose Marie Dress Shop for over forty years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by first husband, Carl Stellato and her second husband, Albert "Al" Calabrese; one brother, Enrico "Hank" Bianchi and a daughter-in-law, Tracy Calabrese.

She is survived by three children, Carl Stellato of Medina, OH, Donald Calabrese of Erie and Janet Calabrese of CA; two sisters, Petrina Lopez and Mary Moski both of Erie; four grandchildren, Patrick, Christopher and Stephanie Stellato and Donald Calabrese Jr. and three sister-in-laws, Carol Bianchi, Gerri Repko and Gilda Calabrese. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, on Wednesday at 11 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, Erie, PA 16502. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
