Roy M. West

Roy M. West, age 90, of Erie, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Saint Vincent Health Center.He was born July 27, 1920 in Dayton, PA, a son of the late Samuel and May Milliron West.

He loved gardening, talking about the bible and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Pauline Jane Schreckengost West of Erie; one daughter, Carol D'Amico and husband Daniel of Stuart, FL; one son, Richard D. West and wife Carol of Erie; one sister, Garnet Forrest of Jacksonville, FL and four grandchildren Amy Eaton and husband Brian, Eric West and wife Michelle, Andrea West and Daniel West and wife Jennifer. He is further survived by four great-grandchildren, Bryant, Eric, Eian and Cameron.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday at Lakeview Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2339 West Grandview Blvd., at 2 pm.
