Sally B. Palmer Franz

Sally B. Palmer Franz, 83, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Saint Vincent Hospital. She was born May 7, 1935 in Erie, a daughter or the late Joseph and Florence Resinger Palmer.

Sally worked in the Erie School District and was a sales clerk at Murphy's

She enjoyed bingo, cryptograms, and fishing.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Oliver Franz; her daughter, Faith Bair; two brothers, Dale and Terry Palmer; and her sister, Sandy Richards.

She is survived by her daughter, Isabell Zaretti (Colin) of VA; two sons, Craig Manning (Becky) of VA and Dennis Manning of Erie; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc, 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling funeral arrangements. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
