Sandra J. DeMarco

Sandra J. DeMarco, age 63, of Erie, died Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Twinbrook Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born November 15, 1950 in Erie, a daughter of the late Ralph V. and Janet M. Balchunas DeMarco.

She was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School and attended Edinboro University.

Sandra had worked for Jabe Construction Company.

She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her brother, Michael A. DeMarco of Santa Fe, New Mexico and her best friend and caregiver, Darlene Conway.

No calling hours will be observed. A private service will be held at the family's convenience. Memorials may be made to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America, Western PA/West Virginia Chapter, 300 Penn Center Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15235. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
