Stephen J. Nichols

Stephen J. Nichols, age 51, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at UPMC Hamot Hospital. He was born on August 11, 1971 in Erie, a son of Kathleen C. (Matteson) Nichols and the late Gordon L. Nichols.

Steve worked as a mechanical millwright for several local businesses over the years. He was a hard worker as well as a talented "Jack of all Trades". He enjoyed spending time outdoors and above all else, loved his family. He will be missed.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray and Joel Nichols.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer (Mascharka) Nichols; his son, Gabriel Nichols; and his brothers, Christopher Nichols, (Abigail) and Jacob Nichols (Christina). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

At Steve's request, all funeral arrangements are private and are being handled by the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, Erie, PA 16502. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
