Terese Marie Lachesky

Terese Marie Lachesky, 55, of Erie, PA passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 13, 1967 in Erie, a daughter of the late Michael E. and Ellen Forfia Lachesky.

Terese was a graduate of Tech Memorial High School. She spent many years involved in Barber National Institute Programs.She was a resident with Erie Homes for Children and Adults and participated in its MOVE program.

Terese attended Long's School of Dance. She was involved in Special Olympics. She enjoyed coloring, dancing, swimming, going to the beach, fishing, and playing bingo with her father at the Elks Club. Terese loved her family and her EHCA Tulane family as well.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert "Bobby" Lachesky.

She is survived by her two sisters, Suzanne Gallagher (Neil) and Mary Beth Daley (Ralph); one brother, Michael R. "Nino" Lachesky; her sister-in-law, Paula Lachesky; 10 nieces and nephews, Megan Kilpatrick, Keith Gallagher, Elizabeth Ventura, Joseph Gallagher, Sarah Bradley, Lauren Daley, Michael Daley, Diane Meyers, Laura Michaels, and Michael Dahlkemper; an aunt, Anita Balducci; and an uncle Robert Forfia (Anne Marie). She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

Friends are invited to call on Sunday at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and may attend a service there on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
