Theresa M. Campanini Hale

Theresa M. Campanini Hale, age 62, of Erie, died Monday January 24, 2011 at Saint Vincent Health Center after a brief illness.

She was born August 22, 1948 in Erie, a daughter of the late Thomas Campanini Sr. and Mary DiMarco Campanini. She lived in Erie her entire life. She was raised in Little Italy and was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School, class of 1966. She received her Cosmetology License and was the owner and operator of Terris Tresses Salon. She also worked at Sarah Reed for 18 years and was the recipient of two Guardian Angel Awards. She enjoyed bocce and playing cards.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Campanini Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Michael L. Hale of Erie; one daughter, Marie N. Harris and husband Michael of Erie; two sons, Anthony T. Hale and wife Jessica of Girard, PA and Michael J. Hale of Erie and three grandchildren, Belladonna, Carmella and Gavin.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm and may attend Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, Friday at 1 pm. Burial will be private in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
