Theresa M. Klep DiPlacido

Theresa M. Klep DiPlacido, 94, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Saint Mary's at Asbury Ridge. She was born November 2, 1923 in Erie, PA, a daughter of the late Gus and Mary Nakoski Klep.

Theresa worked at Loblaws for 20 years.

She was a member of Saint Paul Rosary Altar Society, Saint Paul Senior Citizens Group, and was active in the campus of Saint Mary's at Asbury Ridge.

Theresa was an avid card player and enjoyed playing bingo.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dominick DiPlacido; a daughter Elaine DiPlacido; three brothers Joseph, Edward, and Julius Klep; and two sisters Mary Krysiak and Anna Vogel.

She is survived by her children, Audrey DiPlacido of Erie, John DiPlacido (Sue) of Erie and Mary Post (Tim) of Ellwood City, PA; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday at Saint Mary's at Asbury Ridge Chapel, 4855 West Ridge Road, at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass there at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Saint Mary's at Asbury Ridge, 4855 West Ridge Road, Erie, PA 16506 or to the charity of one's choice. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, will be handling funeral arrangements.
