Theresa Osiecki Tylman Petak
We would like to celebrate the life of Theresa Osiecki Tylman Petak. She was born in Erie Pennsylvania July 5, 1927 and passed away March 20, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.
Theresa's life did not begin easily due to the untimely death of her mother. She was ultimately raised by her older sister and brother-in-law Stella and Joseph Wardanski. The family included her beloved Dorothy Witkowski, Father Joseph Wardanski and Mr. Thomas Wardanski (MaryLou).
During her working years, she enjoyed employment at General Electric facilitated by Dan Tuszynski, as well as her part time work in housekeeping. She also appreciated assistance from Sylvia Brayman McClelland.
She had a loving partnership with her husband, Steve Petak who was her knight in shining armor.
During her retirement years, she enjoyed her little dog, Kirby. Theresa enjoyed making about one thousand stuffed animals each year for Operation Christmas child. She was a giving soul in words, actions and prayer. Theresa also treasured her travels with her niece, Kathy Pokryweicki.
She was an incredible mother to Mrs. Cynthia Gray (Randy), Dr. Thomas Tylman (Dr. Kathleen), and Mr. Louis Tylman (Lyn) and caring stepmother to Crystal Leone (Warren) and Brad Petak (Cindy).
The greatest love was caring for her grandchildren. These include Tessa Cervera (Adam), Daniel Tylman (Kayley), Michael Tylman (Kristi), Jessica Heidorn (Mick), Matthew Gray (Caley), Zachary Gray, Katie DeSanto (Gino), Jennifer McClellan (Steve), Steven Leone (Kerry), Adam Leone, Jason Petak (Emily), Heather Sturgeon (Chris) and her adopted grandchildren Patrick Erdely, Terry Erdely, Judy Heberle, as well as her many great grandchildren.
