Thomas J. Mysnyk Sr.

Thomas J. Mysnyk, Sr., 67, of Erie, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021 at Saint Vincent Hospital. He was born January 9, 1954 in Erie, a son of the late George and Doris Mysnyk.

Thomas worked as a detailer at Hank’s Complete Car Care and then for Rick Weaver Buick until his retirement.

Thomas was a motorcycle enthusiast and a huge NASCAR fan. He loved listening to Elvis Presley and watching Westerns.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Foulk Mysnyk; two brothers, George Mysnyk, Sr. and Bob Mysnyk; and two sisters, Mary Jane Williams and Carol Yeaney.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura Brooks (Tom); two sons, Joseph Mysnyk (Robin Cornman) and Thomas J. Mysnyk, Jr.; two brothers, Steve Mysnyk and Mark Mysnyk (Tammi); two sisters, Pauline Pursell and Della Witt (Don); seven grandchildren, Ryan Brooks, Nathan and Nicholas Mysnyk, and Desiree, Kayla, Brianna, and Tyler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc, 2122 Raspberry Street, on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the funeral home for the family.
