Tina M. Yeast Thomas

Tina Marie Yeast Thomas, age 55, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday January 26, 2021. She was born January 8, 1966 in Erie, a daughter of the late Stanley Yest, Sr. and Pauline Fox Yeast.

Tina loved her family dearly and will always be remembered for the great family gatherings she hosted. Tina had a generous spirit which was evident in the way she helped others in the community. She was like a mother to her nieces and nephews and a grandma to their babies. Tina enjoyed bartending, attending garage sales, and recycling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Casimer Yeast; and a sister, Brenda Horne.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years, Eugene L. Thomas; her brothers, Mark Yeast and Stanley Yeast (Corey); and her sisters, Paula Soyster (Larry), Pauline Boyd (Mark), and Barb Double (Wesley). She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Chris Yeast; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Tina's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc. 2122 Raspberry Street, Erie, PA 16502. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
