Evelina C. "Ev" Bertini Viveralli, age 83, of Erie, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at UPMC Hamot after a extended illness. She was born September 10, 1930 in Erie, a daughter of the late Pasquale and Angelina Bertini. She lived in Erie her entire life.

Ev owned and operated Viveralli's Restaurant. She was a member of the Italian Women's Association and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed cooking and playing cards.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Viveralli.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda A. Straub and husband Bert of Erie; three sons, Ron J. Viveralli and wife Jean of Dominica, Jim M. Viveralli and wife Cindy of Waterford and David A. Viveralli and wife Judith of Durham, NC; and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Luke and husband Clarence of Erie. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint George Church, 5145 Peach Street, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
