Virginia "Ginger" Venturini Loader, age 89, of Erie, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, February 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 30, 1935 in Erie, a daughter of the late Farvio and Josephine (Comi) Venturini.
Ginger deeply valued her family and found joy in cooking and hosting Sunday dinners and holiday gatherings. Her happiest moments were when her home was filled with the laughter and warmth of her loved ones. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore "Ted" D. Loader.
She is survived by her children, Ronald Loader (Cheryl), Sharon Desser (Ron), Christopher Loader (Brenda), and Susan DeSanti (Ted); her sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Dr. Ronald Zieziula; her grandchildren, Jason Loader (Allison), Stephanie Boyd (Chris), Andrea Quinn (Ryan), Christina Loader, Alex Loader, Teddy DeSanti, Madison Loader, Alissa DeSanti, Liza Loader, Erica Loader, Ryan Desser, Courtney Peterson, and Jordan Peterson; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and may attend a prayer service there on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1626 West 26th Street, at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
