Willard Collins

Willard Collins, age 77, of Erie, died Thursday February 3, 2011 at the VA Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born August 24, 1933 in Jackson, KY, a son of the late Edward and Sarah Howard Collins.

He lived in Erie most of his life. He worked at Metalcroft Dodge, Perry Nuclear Plant and Tom and Bob's Auto. Willard was an outstanding auto body painter, loved to hunt and fish, and attended The Family Worship Center.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Collins and three sisters, May Scutella, Beatrice Giancola and Marylou Angelotti.

He is survived by two brothers, Donald Collins and wife Karen and Paul David Collins and wife Betty L.; three sisters, Helen Fay Negron and husband Frank, Joyce Fisher and Patty Collins all of Erie. He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Willard's wishes no calling hours will be observed. Services and entombment will be private at Erie County Memorial Gardens.
