William B. Glass

William B. Glass, age 58, of Girard, PA, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born September 20, 1951 in Erie, a son of Estelle Porth Glass of Florida and the late John Glass.

He lived in the Erie area all of his life. He was a graduate of McDowell High School. He was a union electrician for 39 years and a member of IBEW Local 56. He was involved in Boy Scouting for over 20 years with French Creek Council Troop 53. He was also a member of Elks Lodge and enjoyed golf, cooking, carpentry, fishing and camping.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 29 years, Filomena Miraldi Glass; two sons, Roman K. Glass and wife Kristen of Wilmington, NC and Adam A. Glass of Girard, PA; two brothers, John G. Glass and wife Carla of KY and Michael A. Glass and wife Gloria of Edinboro, PA and three grandchildren, Alexis J., Gia R. and Levi C. Glass all of Wilmington, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm and may attend a Funeral Service there on Saturday at 10 am.
