Our History
In January 1949, the late John R. Orlando founded the John R. Orlando Funeral Home at the corner of West 22nd and Raspberry Streets in Erie, PA.

More than seventy five years and two generations later, both the name and location remain unchanged, reflecting their continued dedication to the Erie community.
In 1968, John’s son Michael J. Orlando followed in his father's footsteps, becoming a licensed funeral director and joining the family business. For 16 years, Michael worked closely with his father. Today, he i s joined by his wife Kathleen, and his son John, along with John’s wife Michele, both licensed funeral directors.
Together, the Orlando family remains committed to carrying the business into the 21st century, upholding their tradition of providing personalized and affordable service to the community.
